Conditional formatting, part 1

Conditional Formatting allows you to format a range of cells, based on a given criteria.

Today we will leverage a built- in format rule.

The rule will highlight all cells with a value greater than 3.

This is good to reinforce the data with supporting visuals.

conditional formatting, part 2

This time we will add data bars and symbols.

These work by identifying

the lowest and highest values in the range,

and formatting the data to make it look relative.
